The Bellydance Superstars have gained an unrivalled reputation for bringing excellence to the art form of Bellydance while pushing the boundaries of the art to greater and greater heights.  For the 2010-2011 season this internationally acclaimed troupe add an array of exciting Indian dance styles including Bollywood and Bhangra into their already varied mix of Bellydance styles that include Egyptian Cabaret to American Tribal styles; hence the show title BOMBAY BELLYWOOD. A wealth of costume changes and great music, fast pace with lots of variety has always been a hallmark of BDSS shows and this new show will follow and add to this tradition.  Having performed over 700 shows in 22 countries the Bellydance Superstars truly have lived up to their name.  Not only superlative disciplined dancers, they have gained worldwide recognition and now number among the world’s most famous dancers for good reason.  We have no doubt that BOMBAY BELLYWOOD will further secure their title as claimed by the Sunday Times of London “The most important dance troupe in the world.”
