Bryan
Adams continues his highly successful solo-acoustic concert
tour in select U.S. cities this winter. This intimate concert
tour will come to Kalamazoo on May 12 at the State Theatre. Adams
has interspersed these special performances in between stadium
dates in Europe and the U.S., and this new spin on his classic
hits has been met with rave reviews from critics and fans alike:
"Armed only with a small array of acoustic guitars, Adams
packed enthusiastic fans the intimate Sheldon for a great night
of music and insight." St. Louis Post Dispatch
"Adams, 48, was utterly comfortable, interacting with the
fans, joking about his capo (a device clamped onto the guitar
strings to raise its pitch), inviting women from the upper balcony
to sit in two of the few empty seats in the house (they took him
up on it), handing out picks, quips, compliments and gratitude."
Columbus Post Dispatch
"They sang along with the ever-so-familiar choruses, filled
in vocal gaps he left for them, clapped the missing drum parts,
hummed the missing solos, and roared their approval after every
offering, right up to a long and hearty standing ovation after
'Run To You'." Toronto Star
