Indie roots-rockers, Dawes are returning to the Kalamazoo State Theatre on Sunday, September 9th! Drawing on the folksy, gentle acoustic based musical trappings and rich vocal harmonies comparable to seventies singer-songwriters like Crosby, Stills & Nash, Neil Young, and Joni Mitchell, Dawes creates breezy emotional songs that converge retro California vibes with contemporary folk-rock.
