Join three time GRAMMY award winning band, Los Lobos, at the historic Kalamazoo State Theatre on April 9th! Los Lobos were already East L.A. neighborhood legends, Sunset Strip regulars and a Grammy Award winning band (Best Mexican-American/Tejano Music Performance) by the time they recorded their major label debut How Will The Wolf Survive? in 1984. Their 24th album “Gates of Gold,” was released recently in 2015. “Gates of Gold” brings their powerhouse mix of Rock, Tex-Mex, Country, Folk, and Blues to life. From start to finish, the lyrics and mood evoke a rich American saga in the tradition of Faulkner and Steinbeck from this truly original multi-Grammy award winning band from East LA on their first studio album in five years.
