About Nickel Creek
Comprised of mandolinist Chris Thile, violinist Sara Watkins, and guitarist Sean Watkins, Nickel Creek revolutionized bluegrass and folk music in the early 2000s. Returning from a nine-year hiatus, the trio recently launched “Celebrants,” a masterfully crafted 18-track album written during a creative retreat in early 2021. The album offers a rich tapestry of poetic and heartfelt lyrics, underpinned by virtuosic picking and harmonies that send shivers down the spine.
