State on the Street is back for select Fridays this Summer! Join us outside the historic Kalamazoo State Theatre for State on the Street featuring Celeste Allison on Friday, August 9!
We’ll have free live music outside our iconic Theatre, patio seating, drink specials, merchandise available for purchase, and more! All of the events will be held on Fridays, with our patio and bar opening at 5:30PM and live music starting at 6PM.
About Celeste Allison:
Celeste Allison is a self-made independent artist from Kalamazoo, Michigan. Music is her outlet.
Her breakthrough song UGLY has over 170k streams on Spotify alone. With sweet but surprising powerhouse vocals paired with sassy lyrics, listeners are left captivated and wanting more. Celeste is not only a talented singer/songwriter, but she also is a musician who has the skillset to play any instrument by ear.
As a lesbian artist herself, her goal is to have her music be relatable and a safe space for everyone, especially the LGBTQ+ community.
